Policies

 

 

 

The following policies and rules have been established for the benefit of all the campers entering Deer Haven Campground & Cabins.  Please make sure that all in your group abide by the rules for the fun and safety of all campers.  Upon occupancy of a site or cabin, each camper agrees to abide by the campground rules.

  • You are responsible for and agree to pay for any damage done to the cabins or RV sites. 
  • There will be a $25 fee for lost keys.
  • You must be at least 25 years old & have a major credit card on file to rent a cabin.
  • Bed linens can be rented for an additional charge. Cabin/RV Rentals with linens are issued (1) set of bed linens and (1) set of towels for the duration of the stay.  A mid-week towel exchange is available for an additional charge of $10.
  • Pets are allowed on site, NOT inside cabins or at the POOL.  You are allowed one pet which must be kept on a leash and NEVER left unattended.  Barking dogs will be asked to leave.  No aggressive dogs.  Please clean up after your pet.  All pets must be current on rabies vaccinations.
  • CALL 911 IN CASE OF EMERGENCY. Please also notify the office.
  • Please be considerate of others.  Disorderly, ill-mannered conduct, drunkenness or profanity will NOT be tolerated at any time.  Parents are responsible for their children’s behavior at ALL times.  All park occupants and guest must comply with all Federal, State and Local laws.
  • Check in for the cabins is 4p.m. or later and check out is at 11a.m.
  • Check in and out for the RV sites is 11a.m – Later check in/out is subject to site availability.

At Deer Haven Campground, we reserve the right to select our clientele and their guest.  We may evict without prior notice anyone who creates a disturbance, nuisance or deliberately breaks any of the campground rules.  NO repayment of fees will be made in the event if such an eviction is imposed.

  • Quiet hours are from 11:00 P.M. until 8:00 A.M.
  • Visitors must register at the main office.  A maximum of 4 visitors are permitted per site and all visitors must leave by 10p.m.
  • The pool is for registered only. Visitors are not permitted to use the pool.   
  • If you move a picnic table, please put it back.
  • Washing of vehicles/RV’s is prohibited.
  • Bicycle helmets must be worn any children 13 and under.
  • NO bike riding after dark. 
  • NO smoking in the cabins.
  • NO fire-arms of any kind or fireworks.
  • NO PARKING ON ANY GRASS
  • NO Generatorsexcept in the case of a power outage.
  • NO cutting or trimming of any trees.  Any fallen wood is free.
  • Campfires are permitted in fire rings and designated fire pits only.  NEVER leave a fire unattended.  Do not move fire rings or burn trash in them.  Fires must be out by midnight.
  • Fires are not permitted around the cabins. A group fire pit is available.

 

Visitor Policy

 

Cabins/Campsites may have up to 4 visitors daily at no charge.  Visitors must obtain a visitor pass at the main office and leave the facility by 10p.m.  Visitors are not permitted to use the POOL.

 

Visitors are permitted to stay overnight, however they must then register as a guest in the main office. Registered overnight guests may use all the campground facilities.
